Triple Protein Quinoa Burger Patties

Super easy vegan burger patties made with quinoa, black beans, and lentils!

Ingredients

  • 15 oz can of lentils
  • 15 oz can of black beans
  • 1 c red quinoa
  • 1/4 c gluten-free steel cut oats
  • 2 tbsp cilantro
  • 3 stalks green onion
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 3 garlic cloves

Instructions

  1. Place quinoa in boiling water and let cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Soak the oats in hot water while the quinoa cooks.
  3. Mix flaxseed with 3 tbsp water and mix.
  4. Chop garlic, cilantro, and green onion.
  5. Mash the black beans and lentils in a bowl.
  6. Once the quinoa is ready, drain it and remove the water from the oats.
  7. Mix everything together and form patties.
  8. Add 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil and sauté each patty 1-2 minutes on each side. Repeat for remaining patties.
