Open-faced tomato and hummus sandwiches!

  • hummus
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 slices dark bread I used whole grain spelt
  • sea salt & pepper to taste


  1. Chop the tomatoes into slices.
  2. Layer each slice of bread with a thick heap of hummus and 2 tomato slices.
  3. Sprinkle sea salt and pepper over the tartines and serve.
