Triple Protein Quinoa Burger Patties
Super easy vegan burger patties made with quinoa, black beans, and lentils!
- 15 oz can of lentils
- 15 oz can of black beans
- 1 c red quinoa
- 1/4 c gluten-free steel cut oats
- 2 tbsp cilantro
- 3 stalks green onion
- 1 tbsp flaxseed
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 3 garlic cloves
Place quinoa in boiling water and let cook for 10 minutes.
Soak the oats in hot water while the quinoa cooks.
Mix flaxseed with 3 tbsp water and mix.
Chop garlic, cilantro, and green onion.
Mash the black beans and lentils in a bowl.
Once the quinoa is ready, drain it and remove the water from the oats.
Mix everything together and form patties.
Add 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil and sauté each patty 1-2 minutes on each side. Repeat for remaining patties.
