Chana (or Chole) Masala is a Northern Indian classic recipe. This is a quick and easy take on it. Chickpeas are an excellent choice of protein since they are full of fiber and will keep you satisfied for hours.
They also contain manganese (helps your bone development) and folate (vitamin B) which are considered essential for your body. Another ingredient in the Quick Chana Masala recipe is turmeric (curcuma). Turmeric is naturally anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant (prevents blood clotting), reduces pain, and has anticancer properties. Although turmeric has many benefits, it is best recommended to be ingested in powder form and not in tablet form since the body absorbs it better and quicker. Feel free to sprinkle more turmeric on this dish!
