Hi guys, I’m Bernardette and my mission is to help you cook tasty healthy food without spending too much time!

I believe in creating food that’s both healthy for our bodies and our planet. The goal of this blog is to provide you with super quick delicious plant-based recipes for you to cook fresh and healthy meals at home. I always try to acquire the ingredients for the recipes as close to the source as possible (locally and farmers markets) and you should try it too! Not only is it better for your health but it is also a big incentive for your community. I am very passionate about helping the environment by reducing emissions and supporting the farmers who provide us with our daily food so I always try to buy organic and fair trade when possible.

Through creating this blog I would like to share my passion for food and holistic health and to help you cook quick and healthy meals for you and your families. I want to share my love for different cuisines and to show you that cooking does not have to be complicated nor boring. I believe that by sustaining our bodies through plant-based foods we are not only helping the planet, animals, and the environment but also cleansing our bodies of unnecessary toxins.

Through my recipes, I would like to help you live a healthier life. All you need is 20 minutes!

I grew up in Texas and for as long as I could remember was obsessed with food. Everything around my life revolved and still revolves around trying different cuisines, traveling to new places in order to taste their food, looking for the best restaurants in town and cooking at home. Aside from Texas, I’ve also lived in New York City, London, Italy and Germany. Through my travels, I try to explore the cuisine as much as possible and implement it into the kitchen.

I studied hospitality and restaurant management and have taken courses at the Culinary Institute of America.

I have 4 dogs at home and am a big dog lover.

Aside from food, my hobbies include yoga, nutrition, and kiteboarding.
