These healthy tartines (open faced sandwiches) are definitely my top go to meal when in doubt. They require minimal ingredients, time, and effort. Not only are they extremely easy to make, they are also really healthy. Fresh tomatoes, homemade hummus, and a sprinkle of sea salt and pepper make up the core of these fresh and filling tartines. You can also sprinkle a little fresh thyme on them for a stronger herb flavor.
You can make this recipe for lunch, dinner, or as a simple snack. Since most of these ingredients are normally stocked anyway in most households you won’t require a lot of pre-meal planning.
